The most commonly targeted sharks here in South Jerey are Mako and Thresher sharks. These sharks provide thrilling fights, aerial acrobatics, and great table fare. May, June, September, and October are the best months to target these two sharks. Fishing for sharks also include July and August but are more geared towards a catch and release fishery seeing tigers, sandbars, and other local toothy critters.
