Summer flounder, or fluke as they are more commonly known, are New Jersey's number one inshore game fish! A great time for the seasoned fisherman and novices alike. Fluke provide great action, good fights, and great dinners. We target Fluke from June through September. They can be caught from the bays to the ocean but we will always look to the ocean for our fluke. Bigger fish and more of them are in the hard bottom areas of the ocean. Dragging old school heavy metal rigs still work but more times than not you'll be using bucktails jigging up big doormats.
